It’s Tuesday yeah? So let me bring you some talent! Oouuu! All together now… do-re-mi-fa-so- LARBI thoughhhh!

Chellz: Today is your day yo! Let’s go… What age did you get into music?

Larbi: 14 years old

Quite young… Why do you do the music you do?

I enjoy telling stories and the life experiences I have had / I’m currently having. The mood of the song indicates the story you will hear. Music is a feeling and I want people to be drawn into the same feelings I am in when I write my music.

Absolutely! So, I think I have an idea anyway just by going from the songs I’ve heard and seeing you perform… but for everyone else – what or who inspires you?

Influences ranging from Ghetts, Wretch 32, Kano, P Money and 50 Cent, to Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Busta Rhymes and Biggie… thanks to these influences, I feel like I never disappoint with content, flow or delivery. My cultural background (Ghanaian) meant hearing a lot of Highlife / Hip life from an early age, which explains where my African influence comes from.

How did you come up with your artist name & what does it stand for?

It’s my family name. I decided to keep it original like some of the greats… Kendrick Lamar, Tupac, J.Cole, etc.

Time to big yourself up… drop a list of all your previous work right up to press:

Blackbox Freestyle –

Work For Your Money [released on Soundcloud] –

Back In Time [released on Soundcloud] –

Rude ft Mence & Velly [released on all major platforms] –

Icon UK remix [released on all major platforms] –

Trade It All For You [released on all major platforms] –

Which project are you most proud of & why?

I’m proud of a few of these projects; “Rude” because it wasn’t my style but I managed to deliver from a afro-reggae point of view. “Back in Time” because I have never been able to talk about personal issues with my Dad but also turn it into a vibe and “Trade It All For You” because it is my first official release of MY MUSIC – NOT A COVER!

C’mon! Keep them coming!

Any future projects or goals lined up?

A future goal is to have a headline show to at least 1000 people next year.

We call it into existence! What have you been up to in the meantime to get yourself out there?

I have been on Radar Radio on DJ P Montana’s set and I performed at (BKChat LDN’s) Omar TKIF’s headliner last year.

Came through heavy with that live band still!

Any other talents that people may know you for?

I like to believe I can act as shown through my previous release ‘Trade It All For You’. I can play a bit of basketball too and have a fair knowledge about fitness and nutrition.

The vids are certi so I’ll clap to that! Give us a random or fun fact about you.

Random – I am part of the ICE (Institution of Civil Engineers)

Sounds prestige! Do you have a positive affirmation for the readers / your supporters?

I hope music will allow me to create opportunities for my people. I know a lot of people that have great ideas and good intentions for the world but lack the financial backing. I hope to make that happen for them.

That’s dope man! We wish you all the best! Thanks for being this weeks #TalentTuesdays Star!
